How it works

Let capsules drain. Brand and collection returns create a dedicated recycling stream; in Amsterdam, aluminium coffee capsules may also go in general waste.

AMSTERDAM SEPARATES METALS AFTER COLLECTION. That makes general waste an accepted fallback for aluminium capsules here—another municipality may use a different rule.
